WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Our 2020 Cabernet is the eleventh release and reflects our winemaking skills and commitment to applying simple, traditional winemaking techniques to deliver what we believe is a fine example of the Margaret River style.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Purple with a dark crimson hue.

Aroma: Lifted blackberry and mulberry fruits complimented by chocolate and  vanillan oak with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Palate: Soft, fine grained tannins supported by rich and powerful dark fruits. Vanillan and chocolate oak supports the fruit on the palate. Classic varietal Margaret River Cabernet. Finely polished with great balance and length. Those who cellar  in the longer term will be rewarded.

Food matching: Char grilled meats or field mushrooms. Cellaring: Five years and more to see the wine fully expressed.

Alcohol: 14.0%v/v
